Eva's life as a wife and mother fell apart when she learned that her husband, Rizal and his son Adam, had disappeared. He finally learned that they had both been recruited into a paramilitary organization that was preparing a rebellion against the Malaysian government.
Eva returns from a business trip to find her family gone. Nothing has been touched; they have simply vanished. A frantic Eva follows the only clue to Nusantopia, a fashionable “life empowerment” movement. There, she is unexpectedly reunited with Musa, a long-lost friend who has always carried a torch for her.
Rizal, Eva’s husband, and their son, Mika, settle into a new life far from the city. Still none the wiser, a resolute Eva delves deeper into Nusantopia. She catches the eye of Iskandar, the charismatic leader. Meanwhile, Musa’s ex-colleague, Inspector Jefri, is investigating a series of violent deaths.
Armed with new discoveries about her family’s whereabouts, Eva is determined to find a way to them. Musa’s warmth mysteriously disappears and he sabotages her efforts. The flamboyant Tati’s disappearance frustrates Jefri’s investigation, while Eva has a standoff with Iskandar that will change her life forever.
Eva wakes up from her nightmare to find a beachside paradise. Her past catches up with her as Iskandar leads her on a painful journey of discovery. An unexpected break leads Jefri to Nusantopia’s doorstep.
Eva and Rizal’s reunion ends in tears and an unbearable request. A devastated Eva joins new Nusantopia members in a dramatic exercise, but is dismissed before activities take a dark turn. Musa faces a life and death choice that reveals his true face.
When Jefri and his colleagues arrive at the Nusantopia Resort, they discover nothing but an idyllic community. Farah, Eva’s rival for Rizal’s affections, is uneasy when Eva is finally reunited with her son, Mika. As Musa’s situation becomes increasingly dangerous, he tries to warn Eva.
The past histories of Musa and Iskandar finally converge into violence. Jefri follows his nose to uncover Farah’s true identity, the key to the trail of dead and disappearing bodies. Rizal makes a terrible decision he will never be able to undo.
Iskandar whips the Nusantopia community into a frenzy, ready for battle. The dubious activities of the organisation are revealed. Rizal is groomed for leadership, but is secretly consumed by guilt. He confesses to both Farah and Eva, but gets very different responses.
Musa has one last message for Eva, but her steely resolve is put to the test when she finally meets Mika alone. Her son pours his heart out. Eva will stop at nothing to ensure her son’s happiness but can their rift be healed after so many painful memories? An emotional confrontation with Rizal holds the answer.
The police descend on the Nusantopia Resort, and are greeted by a deadly scene. Rizal, Eva and Mika find themselves at the mercy of Farah. But a more vicious threat looms as Iskandar’s sadism knows no bounds. Eva will have to fight to the bloody end for her family.
