Biography
Ariel Baska is a Deafblind cyborg, disability advocate, multi-award-winning filmmaker, and the festival director of Access:Horror, which celebrates disability and genre through horror and experimental filmmaking. They have worked with Anarchists United, SXSW, and the Academy Museum as a filmmaker, speaker, and advisor. Their most recent short film, a horror memoir named Monstrous Me, received grants from Southern Documentary Fund, Sunny Side of the Doc (via ReelAbilities), and The Chimaera Project, and is executive produced by Lilly Wachowski.
